Since 1966, The Lighthouse Shelter has provided our community with 6-month temporary housing for families and individuals, rescuing them from homelessness, and offering them the opportunity to get back on their feet. In 2012, 345 individuals were housed and 44,441 meals were served at The Lighthouse Shelter.
The Shelter provides, but is not limited to:
• 30 single men’s beds
• 12 single women’s beds
• Case management
• Life skills classes
• Spiritual services
• Public lunch of soup/sandwich served weekdays from 12:30-1:00PM, sack lunch on weekends from 12:30-1:00PM (All are welcome!)
